The development site is located at Parvat Magob on DMD Market road, Surat, Gujarat. This ground + ten story commercial building with double basement shall function as a Textile market.  Ground floor is with entrance foyer, visitor parking and shops while upper floors are exclusively textile shops.  In addition to common lifts, each individual shops have dedicated lift access.  Typical floors are with 5180mm floor to floor height with provisions for mezzanine floor. The basement is for car parking with ramp access.

The footprint of the building at ground floors is 82.35x96.13m with a central open to sky space of 30.29x46.28m above the ground pushing the shops to four sides of the building.

A conventional structural system in concrete with columns spacing kept between 3.55m by 7.0m to 11.8m fits well with the architectural module.  Due to restrictions in headroom, post tension beams for some spans is adopted.  A dual system of special moment resisting frames and ductile structural walls form lateral load resisting system for the building.
